The Val Faller is a four kilometer long left side valley of the Oberhalbstein in the Swiss canton of Graubünden .

The Val Faller, which branches off southwest from the main valley near Mulegns , today belongs to the municipality of Surses and consists of the three hamlets Tga ( Rhaeto-Romanic Tga 'house' ) at 1923  m above sea level. M. , Plang (level) at 1950  m and Arnoz at 2021  m above sea level. M. Val Faller is used today by the farmers in Mulegns as an alp . The plateau at the foot of Piz Platta ( 3392  m above sea level ) is around 1.2 km long and around 500 meters wide. It is traversed by the Fallerbach (Romansh Ragn da Faller ), which flows into the Julia (rm: Gelgia ) in Mulegns . Above Plang, the Val Gronda extends to the west and the Val Bercla to the south .

In the 13th century, Avers Walser migrated into Oberhalbstein and settled in Val Faller and Alp Flix . Despite the later Romanization, the side valley of the Oberhalbstein kept its Walser name. In addition to agriculture, a small copper mine was operated. In the chapel of Saint Roch in the hamlet of Tga there is an altarpiece from 1760.

The Alp in Val Faller is part of the Parc Ela nature park , which comprises seven communities on 548 km² of the Surses and Albula valleys .
