Valery Volodymyrowytsch Atrashchenkov ( Ukrainian Валерій Володимирович Атращенков ; born August 20, 1984 in Kharkov , Ukrainian SSR , USSR , English transcription Valeriy Atrashchenkov ) is a Ukrainian badminton player. He is an international master of sport .

He first dealt with badminton at the age of ten. His first coach was his sister Natalia Golovkina .

He became Ukrainian champion in singles (2010, 2011, 2012) and doubles (2007, 2010, 2012). He participated in the European Championships in 2006 , 2008 and 2010 .

He was also the International Slovak Champion in singles and mixed in 2008 . He is the winner of the Swedish International Championships in Stockholm in 2009 and the 2007 and 2009 Romanian International Mixed Championships (2007, 2009); He also won the mixed at the Austrian International Championships 2010. In 2009 and 2010, he and his partner Elena Prus won the mixed at the Kharkov International .

His current trainer is Gennady Machno .
