The Valgejõgi (translated: "White River") is a river in the northern part of Estonia . Its length is 85 km, its catchment area 453 km².

The river has its source in Lake Porkuni on the Pandivere ridge . It flows into the Bay of Hara in the Gulf of Finland near Loksa .

The river is particularly famous for its abundance of fish ( brown trout and salmon ).

In Valgejõgi there is also the Nõmmeveski waterfall (Estonian: Nõmmeveski juga ), which used to be a hydroelectric power station. Today the river is still used to generate electricity near the village of Kotka .
