Valverde is a fraction of the Italian commune ( comune ) Colli Verdi in the province of Pavia , Lombardy region .
geography
Valverde is located about 36 kilometers south-southeast of Pavia in southwest Lombardy in the Oltrepò Pavese .
history
Until 2018, Valverde was an independent municipality with a final population of 314 (as of December 31, 2017) and merged with the municipalities of Canevino and Ruino on January 1, 2019 to form the new municipality of Colli Verde. The former scattered community consisted of the fractions Bozzola, Calghera, Casa Andrini, Casa d'Agosto, Casa Porri, Casa Zanellino, Mandasco, Moglio and the municipality seat Mombelli. It belonged to the Comunità Montana Oltrepò Pavese .
