Vampirette is a German silent film drama from 1916 with Wanda Treumann and Viggo Larsen in the leading roles.
action
Adele Hartwig, a young pianist, tries to take her own life by lying on the rails and waiting for the next train. She is observed by the major daughter Hertha von Lettingen and prevented from doing what she does. The mother of her savior wants to help the desperate and therefore hires her as her companion. But Adele turns out to be extremely ungrateful: She ensnares Hertha's groom Baron Grafenhorst and tries to relax Hertha. Adele even possesses impertinence and moves into Grafenhorst's apartment. When Hertha realizes that she has lost her loved one to this "vampirette", she again lies down on the rails and commits the suicide from which she once prevented Adele.
