Palhinha , real name Vanderlei Eustáquio de Oliveira (born June 11, 1950 in Belo Horizonte ), is a former Brazilian soccer player and coach .

Career

Palhinha won various national and international championships in his career as a player. His biggest success was winning the Copa Libertadores 1976 with the Cruzerio EC from Belo Horizonte . In this competition he was also the top scorer with 13 goals, an achievement that has only been exceeded once since then. For Cruzeiro, Palhinha is said to have played a total of 457 games.
