Vangerow (Brandenburg noble family)
Vangerow is the name of a family originally from Neumark , which first appeared in a document with Brosius Vangerow († 1568), who was enfeoffed with his brother in 1540 with the Schultzengericht zu Hitzdorf ( Arnswalde district ). The reliable line of tribe begins with Adam Vangerow († 1643), who is mentioned in a document as Schultze zu Hitzdorf in 1639.

The coat of arms is similar to that of the Pomeranian noble family von Vangerow . Within the golden edge of the shield in blue over a red rose, a taut golden bow with a silver arrow on top of a pole . On the helmet with blue-gold covers, the rose blooms on a green stem between four (right red and silver, left silver and red) ostrich feathers .
