The Vaptsarov Peak ( English ; Bulgarian Вапцаров връх Wapzarow wrach ) is a 410 m high mountain on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . In the Delchev Ridge of the Tangra Mountains, it rises 0.67 km northwest to north of Paisiy Peak , 0.93 km northeast of Rodopi Peak and 5.25 km west to south of Renier Point . Its western slope is steep and not icy. The Sopot Piedmont Glacier lies east, north, and west of it.
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named the mountain in 2004 after the Bulgarian poet Nikola Wapzarow (1909–1942).
