The Vaughan Glacier is a 16 km long glacier in Marie Byrd Land in West Antarctica . In the Hays Mountains it flows from Mount Vaughan in an easterly direction to the Scott Glacier , which it reaches immediately south of Taylor Ridge .
The United States Geological Survey carried out a mapping based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from the years 1960 to 1964. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the glacier in 1967 in the context of the naming of Mount Vaughan, whose namesake is Norman Vaughan .
