Vaughn Bishop (2018)

Vaughn F. Bishop (born in the 20th century ) is an American intelligence officer and has been Deputy Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) since August 1, 2018 . He previously worked for the CIA from 1981 to 2011.

education

Bishop holds a degree in Political Science from Northwestern University . After receiving his doctorate, he became an assistant professor of political science at Emory University in Atlanta , Georgia .

In 1981, Bishop joined the CIA. After 30 years of service, he retired in 2011.

In 2018 he rejoined the civil service and was appointed Deputy Director of the CIA by US President Donald Trump .

Bishop is married and has two children.
