Vedanta Indian Squash Open 2018

The Vedanta Indian Squash Open 2018 took place from February 8th to 11th, 2018 in Mumbai , India . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2017/18 and belonged to the PSA 35 category .

Saurav Ghosal won the tournament after beating Nicolas Müller in the final , the game ended 11: 9, 5:11, 6:11, 11: 7 and 12:10.

The field of participants consisted of 16 players, four of which were starting places for qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Mahesh Mangaonkar a spot in the main draw.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize pool was $ 35,000.
