Vedran Mataija
Vedran Mataija (born May 6, 1988 in Virovitica ) is a Croatian handball player .
The 1.80 meter tall and 85 kilogram left winger began his career at RK Poreč . He played with Poreč in the EHF Challenge Cup (2006/2007, 2008/2009). In the summer of 2011 Mataija joined RK Nexe. With Nexe he took part in the EHF Cup in 2011/12 and 2012/13 . Mataija then returned to RK Poreč, with whom he also took part in the EHF Cup in 2013/14.
Vedran Mataija is part of the Croatian national team , for example for the 2010 European handball championship .
