The Velcha Cove (English, Bulgarian залив Велча saliw World saddle ) is a 400 wide wide and 680 m long bay on the east coast of Astrolabe Island northwest of the Trinity Peninsula of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . Its center is 2.6 km south to east of Kanarata Point , 0.7 km southwest of Papazov Island and 3.3 km northeast of Sherrell Point . The Drumohar Peak towers to the northwest, the Rogach peak south of it on.
German and British scientists mapped it together in 1996. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2018 after Mount Weltscha in the eastern Balkan Mountains .
