The Lake Bled (also Lake Bled , Slovenian Blejsko jezero ) is a lake in the Slovenian region Oberkrain the spa (Gorenjska) Bled at the foot of Pokljuka - plateau . The lake is at an altitude of 475 m. i. J. The lake was named after the place.

In the lake is the small island Blejski Otok with a well-known St. Mary's Church and important excavations from the early and high Middle Ages . It is the only island in Slovenia.
