The Great Rock (Czech: Velká skála ) is a peak in the middle Upper Palatinate Forest . It is located in Okres Domažlice, about 2 km northwest of Rybník nad Radbuzou (German: Waier), 1 km northeast of Waldhäuser , 3 km north of Schwarzach . Its summit is about 2 km west of the Radbuza and 750 m east of the Bavarian Schwarzach .
Eisenberg and Großer Fels together form the Amber Ridge (Medvědí hory), which extends north-south along the German-Czech border. This mountain range can be crossed in the south over a 600 m high pass, if you go from Schwarzach to Rybnik or go by bike. The good, paved road from Schwarzach to Rybnik is closed to traffic. Another 810 m high pass is located in the north between Glöckelberg (Malý Zvon) and Eisenberg.
