Vuelta a Venezuela

The Vuelta a Venezuela (German: Tour of Venezuela ) is a Venezuelan road bike race .

The stage race was held for the first time in 1963 and has been held annually in September since then. The organizer is the Federacion Venezolana de Ciclismo, the Venezuelan cycling association. The tour has been part of the UCI America Tour since 2005 and is classified in category 2.2. Record winners are José Chacon and Olinto Silva , who each won three races.
