Miguel Ubeto

Miguel Armando Ubeto Aponte (born September 2, 1976 in Caracas ) is a Venezuelan racing cyclist .

Miguel Ubeto won two stages in the Vuelta a la Independencia Nacional in 2002. Two years later he was successful in a stage of the Vuelta al Táchira and he was third in the road race of the Pan American Championship. The next year he won part of the Vuelta a Venezuela . He was also successful there in 2007. He also won a stage each of the Vuelta a la Independencia Nacional and the Vuelta Internacional al Estado Trujillo.

On April 15, 2013 it was announced that Ubeto had tested positive for GW1516 . He was then temporarily suspended from his team. In July, Ubeto was banned for two years.
