The 46th Vuelta al Táchira took place from January 12 to 23, 2011. The bike race was held in twelve stages over a distance of 1,595.9 kilometers. It belonged to the UCI America Tour 2011 and was classified there in category 2.2.

Overall winner was the Venezuelan Manuel Medina from the Gobierno del Zulia team ahead of the Colombian Carlos Becerra (Lóteria del Táchira Sporade) and his compatriot and teammate Noel Vásquez .

Participating teams

Eleven local and four foreign cycling teams, including two national teams, received invitations. The Transporte Eleang team did not take part in the race. German-speaking drivers were not at the start.
