The 48th Vuelta al Táchira took place from January 11-20, 2013 in Venezuela . The bike race was held in ten stages over a distance of 1,259.9 kilometers. It belonged to the UCI America Tour 2013 and was classified in category 2.2 .

Overall winner was the Venezuelan Yeisson Delgado from Kino Táchira Drodinica ahead of his compatriots José Chacón (Loteria del Táchira Cauchos Guayana) and Carlos Gálviz (Fegaven Pdval).

Participating teams

Eleven local teams, including a Venezuelan national team, and five foreign cycling teams received invitations. The Vini Fantini-Selle Italia team , as the Professional Continental Team, was the top-class participating team. German-speaking drivers were not at the start.
