Venkatesan Subha (born August 31, 1999 ) is an Indian sprinter who specializes in the 400-meter run .

Athletic career

Venkatesan Subha gained her first international experience in 2016 at the Junior Asian Championships in Ho Chi Minh City , where she won the gold medal in the Indian 4 x 400 meter relay in 3: 43.57 minutes. Then she took part with the relay at the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz and was eliminated there with 3: 45.07 minutes in the lead-up. Two years later she won the silver medal with the relay behind Japan at the Junior Asian Championships in Gifu in 3: 41.11 min and finished seventh in the 200-meter run in 24.77 s. Then she retired at the U20 World Championships in Tampere with the relay with 3: 39.10 min again in the preliminary round. In 2019 she took part with the relay at the World Championships in Doha and did not qualify for the final with 3: 29.42 min.
