Vera Möller
Vera Möller (born April 25, 1911 in Kiel , † 1998 in Hamburg ) was a German writer, illustrator and golf player.
Life
Although she is the author of several books, she gained indestructible popularity in and around Hamburg, especially with the jokes she collected from the Hamburg brat Klein Erna and her family (especially Klein Bubi ), which appeared as a book in several of her illustrated episodes from 1938. The style of the very short anecdotal stories is dialectally ( Missingsch ) colored High German, an everyday situation is drafted and a dry, unexpected and completely unsentimental sentence (short comment or replica of an acting person) sets a memorable punchline . Even today [2007] one can assume that established hamburgers will be able to tell one or the other of the Klein-Erna stories. B. the words Klein 'Tapeßiernagel! or just let the conductor do it! have to grin.
