Vera Müller-Weidner

Vera Müller-Weidner (* 1939 in Berlin ) is a German actress , cabaret artist and voice actress .

Life

After training as a technical draftsman , she trained as an actor at the Max Reinhardt School in Berlin and had her first stage engagements a. a. at the theaters in Dortmund, Darmstadt or Bremen. She became known as the dubbing voice of Loretta Swit in the successful US series M * A * S * H , but also spoke some roles in feature films, such as for Nathalie Baye in The Man Who Loved Women or for the two-time Oscar winner Luise Rainer in final in St. Petersburg .

The stage actress Müller was also seen on television now and then, for example in the series Praxis Bülowbogen , an episode of the series Das Kriminalmuseum or in the feature films Mother at 16 and in Regina Ziegler's I Thought I was dead and deadly love .

Müller-Weidner also occasionally lent her voice to everyday characters in commercial radio plays such as Benjamin Blümchen or Wendy . In the course of the negotiations about the demolition of the two Berlin Boulvard stages Komoedie and Theater am Kurfürstendamm , she took part in a protest against the demolition. Since 2000 she has been a member of the ensemble of the cabaret Die Kneifzange in Berlin. In the production of Joseph Kesselring's crime comedy " Arsen und Spitzenhäubchen " at the Berlin Criminal Theater, she plays one of the two main roles alongside Renate Blume in her first engagement on this stage.
In the new production she plays the lead role alongside Peter Groeger in "Inspector Campbell's Last Case".
