Wipperhof is a village in the town of Wipperfürth in the Oberbergisches Kreis in the administrative district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

It is located near the Wupper at the exit of Wipperfürth in the direction of Hückeswagen , mostly on Lenneper Strasse . Neighboring towns are Kleineichhölzchen in the south , Finkelnburg in the west and Hilgersbrücke in the north-west .
Politically, the place is represented by the direct candidate of electoral district 9 (090) Northwestern urban area in the council of the city of Wipperfürth.
history
Wipperhof is mentioned for the first time in 1450 in connection with the transfer of a mill above the "Wipperhove" farm by Duke Gerhard von Berg to the city of Wipperfürth. The Topographia Ducatus Montani map from 1715 shows four farms and names them “Wipperhof” . A mill symbol shows the map topographical survey of the Rhineland from 1825 north of the village.
Infrastructure
The clothes manufacturer Alfons Müller-Wipperfürth had his main plant in Wipperhof . Today the company’s former boiler house is home to a nationally known discotheque. Today there are shopping centers, petrol stations and fast food restaurants on the factory premises. On the opposite bank of the Wupper there is a airfield for 1-2-engine aircraft.
