Hungerberg is a court of Wipperfürth in the Oberbergischer Kreis in the administrative district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Location and description

The Hofschaft is located in the northeast of Wipperfürth on the Schevelinger Dam . Neighboring towns are Hönnige , Dreine , Niederscheveling , Schleise , Wasserfuhr and Biesenbach . The Hungerberger Bach, which flows into the Hönnige, rises on the northeastern edge of the village.

Politically, the place is represented by the direct candidate of electoral district 11 (110) Kreuzberg in the council of the city of Wipperfürth.

history

Hungerberg was first mentioned in a document in 1387. "Drudeke, wife of Hildebrand Hungerberg zu Wipperfürth" inherits an estate "zu Dorpat" . The Topographia Ducatus Montani map from 1715 shows three courtyards. The topographical recording of the Rhineland from 1825 shows "Hungerberg" with a delimited courtyard and 4 individual building floor plans.
