The topographical photograph of the Rhineland from 1825 shows three separate floor plans on a delimited courtyard under the name "Eicholz" . In the Prussian first recording from 1840 the place name is "Eichhölzchen" . From the official topographical map ( Prussian new record ) from 1894 to 1896, the place name Kleineichhölzchen is used.

A sandstone footfall , created at the beginning of the 19th century, stands on the ravine to Wipperfürth.
