Unterlüttgenau is a court of Wipperfürth in the Oberbergisches Kreis in the administrative district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).
Location and description
The Hofschaft is located in the north of Wipperfürth on the southern bank of the "Lüttgenauer Arms" of the Bevertalsperre . Neighboring places are Großhöhfeld , Hasenburg , Kirchenbüchel and Oberlüttgenau . In the north the Schlengersiefen flows into the Bevertalsperre , in the east the Lanner Siefen .
Politically, the place is represented by the direct candidate from electoral district 17.2 (172) Egen in the council of the city of Wipperfürth.
history
After 1450 a certain "Heynemans in the Lutkennae" is mentioned in a list of those liable for wax interest in the Cologne Apostelstift. The Topographia Ducatus Montani map from 1715 shows a courtyard and names it "Litgenau" . From the official topographic map ( Prussian new record ) from 1894 to 1896, the name Unterlüttgenau, which is in use today, is used.
