Güttenhausen is a village in Wipperfürth in the Oberbergisches Kreis in the administrative district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).
Location and description
Güttenhausen is in the north of Wipperfürth on the "Stooter Arm" of the Bevertalsperre . Neighborhoods are Müllensiepen , Levenhausen , Bruch , Schwickertzhausen and Egen . 130 m west of the village, the Güttenhausener Bach flows into the Levenhausen Siepen, which flows into the Bever . The Wupperverband operates a measuring station in Güttenhausen on the Bever. Here, among other things, precipitation, water levels and biological data are recorded.
Politically, the village is represented by the direct candidate from electoral district 17.2 (172) Egen in the council of the city of Wipperfürth.
history
The map Topographia Ducatus Montani from 1715 shows a single farm and designates it with "Güttenhusen" . The topographical survey of the Rhineland from 1825 already uses the place name "Güttenhausen" which is in use today .
In 1871 a sandstone cross was erected in the village .
