history
After 1450 the place is mentioned for the first time under the name "Vynckelenberg" in a wax interest list of the Cologne Apostelstifts. The topographical survey of the Rhineland from 1825 shows five separate floor plans under the name Finkelnburg in a delimited courtyard.
