Frumencio Escudero Arenas

Frumencio Escudero Arenas (born October 27, 1947 in Celada del Camino , Spain ) is emeritus Vicar Apostolic of Puyo .

Life

Frumencio Escudero Arenas was ordained a priest on August 15, 1985 and was incardinated in the clergy of the Vicariate Apostolic Puyo . On October 6, 1992, John Paul II appointed him Vicar Apostolic of Puyo and Titular Bishop of Cincari .

The Archbishop of Quito , Antonio José Cardinal González Zumárraga , consecrated him bishop on November 29 of the same year ; Co-consecrators were Julio Parise Loro CSI , Vicar Apostolic of Napo , and Teodoro Luis Arroyo Robelly SDB , Vicar Apostolic of Méndez .

He resigned from his office on July 25, 1998.
