Im Hagen is a court of Wipperfürth in the Oberbergischer Kreis in the administrative district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Location and description

The court is located in the east of Wipperfürth on the city limits to Kierspe . Neighboring towns are Klaswipper , Kleinfastenrath , Speckenbach , Großfastenrath , Kerspe and Neuenhaus . The dam of the Kerspe dam is located one kilometer northwest of Im Hagen. The Großfastenrather Siepen flows past in the east and the Speckenbach in the west .

Politically, the place is represented by the direct candidate from constituency 13 (130) Ohl and Klaswipper in the council of the city of Wipperfürth.

history

In 1533 "Hagen" is mentioned in a tax list of the Catholic parish of St. Nikolaus Wipperfürth. The map Topographia Ducatus Montani from 1715 shows a courtyard under the same name. The topographical survey of the Rhineland from 1825 shows three individual building plans in the Hagen court. Only from the topographic map from 1967 onwards is the place name "Im Hagen" .
