Fly oak is a court of Wipperfürth in the Oberbergisches Kreis in the administrative district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Location and description

The Hofschaft is located in the northeast of Wipperfürth on the Neyetalsperre . Neighboring towns are Niederscheveling , Dreine and Hambüchen . The Harhausen Brook, which flows into the Hönnige, rises on the southeastern edge of the village.

Politically, the place is represented in the council of the city of Wipperfürth by the direct candidate from electoral district 3 (030) northeastern urban area.

The Topographia Ducatus Montani map from 1715 shows a courtyard and names it "Eicken" . The topographical recording of the Rhineland from 1825 shows "Eik" with a delimited courtyard and building floor plans. From the Prussian first recording from 1840 to 1844 the name is "oaks" and from the topographical map ( Prussian new recording ) from 1894 to 1896 the place name is fly oak .
