Eichholz is a village in the municipality of Wipperfürth in the Oberbergischer Kreis in the administrative district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

The place is located in the southwest of the city of Wipperfürth between the stream valleys of the Erler Siefens and the Drecker Baches . Neighboring places are Erlen , Weinbach Seidenfaden , Klespe and Drecke .

In 1443 the place is mentioned for the first time under the name "Eichholtze" in an income and rights list of the Cologne Apostelstifts. The map Topographia Ducatus Montani from 1715 shows two courtyards and names them "Eichholts" . The topographical survey of the Rhineland from 1825 shows five separate floor plans under the name "Eichholz" in a delimited courtyard .
