Klitzhaufe is a village in Wipperfürth in the Oberbergischer Kreis in the administrative district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Location and description

The village is located in the northwest of Wipperfürth on the city limits to Hückeswagen . Neighboring places are Niederröttenscheid , Oberröttenscheid , Großblumberg , Sonnenschein and Neye . The Niederröttenscheider Bach flows into the Neye in the village .

Politically, the place is represented by the direct candidate from electoral district 10 (100) Neye and Felderhof in the council of the city of Wipperfürth.

history

The map Topographia Ducatus Montani from 1715 shows a courtyard and names it “Klizhaufen” . In the map of the topographical survey of the Rhineland from 1825, three separate floor plans are drawn under the place name “Klitzhaufe” . In the Prussian premiere from 1840 to 1844, the place is named "Klinzhof" . The name in use today is used with the official topographic map ( Prussian New Admission ) from 1894 to 1896.

In the historical topographic map of 1825, a mill symbol is entered on the southern edge of the village. This mill is on the maps up to the topographic map from 1913. It is referred to in the literature as "Klitzhaufer Mühle" and was a grain mill.
