history
After 1450 a certain "Heynemans in the Lutkennae" is mentioned in a list of those liable for wax interest in the Cologne Apostelstift. The map Topographia Ducatus Montani from 1715 shows two courtyards and denotes them with “o. Litgenau " . From the official topographic map ( Prussian new record ) from 1894 to 1896, the name Oberlüttgenau, which is in use today, is used.
