Hasenburg is a village in Wipperfürth in the Oberbergisches Kreis in the administrative district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Location and description

The village of Hasenburg is located in the north of Wipperfürth on the "Lüttgenauer Arm" of the Bevertalsperre . Neighboring towns are Unterlüttgenau , Großhöhfeld , Müllensiepen , Kirchenbüchel and Oberlüttgenau . The Schlengensiefen rises 130 m west of the village and the Hasenburgbach flows in the east . Both waters flow into the Bevertalsperre.

The village has a campsite.

Politically, the village is represented by the direct candidate from electoral district 17.2 (172) Egen in the council of the city of Wipperfürth.

history

In 1443 the place is listed for the first time under the name "Hasenborch" in a register of the income and rights of the Cologne Apostle monastery . The map Topographia Ducatus Montani from 1715 shows two courtyards and names them with the name "Hasenburg", which is common today .
