Niederflosbach is located southwest of Wipperfürth in the Flosbachtal on the K18 district road from Grunewald to Jörgensmühle . Neighboring places are Thier, Baumhof and Raffelsiefen .

history

In 1443 the place is mentioned for the first time under the name "Vloesbeke" in an income and rights list of the Cologne Apostelstift. The map Topographia Ducatus Montani from 1715 shows three courtyards and denotes them with “n. Flosbach " . The topographical photograph of the Rhineland from 1825 shows seven separate floor plans in a delimited courtyard and designates them with “U. Flosbach " .
