Stüttem is a village of Wipperfürth in the Oberbergischer Kreis in the administrative district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ). The village belongs to the district Agathaberg .

Stüttem is located in the south of the urban area of ​​Wipperfürth on the border with Lindlar . Neighboring towns are Graben , Schlade , Fähnrichstüttem and Oberkemmerich .

history

In 1374 the place was first mentioned in a document with the place name Stutem . In a document from the Historical Archive Cologne it is noted that the farm belongs to the property of the Cologne St. Ursulastiftes and is one of the lower courts of the Fronhof Steinenbrück. The historical map Topographia Ducatus Montani from 1715 shows a single farm and names it “mares” . The map topographical recording of the Rhineland from 1825 shows Stüttem in a delimited courtyard with four separate building floor plans.
