Under My Skin ( German: "Unter meine / r Haut" ) is an English-language dance-pop song by Remee , Thomas Troelsen and Lucas Secon, which became famous in the first interpretation by the German singer Sarah Connor .
Background information
Under My Skin was written for Connor's seventh studio album Sexy as Hell by Danish producers Remee, Thomas Troelsen and Lucas Secon and produced by Remme and Troelsen. The song was recorded at Delta Lab Studios in Copenhagen , Denmark. The song was released as a preliminary single on August 1, 2008 in German-speaking countries. Marek Pompetzki and Paul NZA are responsible for the mix of the single. Connor explains the singles selection as follows: “It's a tough number that goes straight forward. Under My Skin is a song that a lot of people wouldn't have expected from me. But I wanted to symbolize my change and development right away with the first single. ”About the lyrics, she says:“ Actually, “only” a situation is described in which two people see each other and slowly an erotic tension builds up between the two. The director Jörn Heitmann shot the accompanying music video on July 5, 2008 in the Tempodrom in Berlin.
