Real Love ( English for "true love") is the seventh studio album by the German singer Sarah Connor . It was released by X-Cell in October 2010.
background
The album Real Love was released after the singer took a two-year hiatus. With the album Connor returns to her musical roots. The album contains a mixture of ballads and dance tracks. In London Connor recorded the songs Stand Up , Back from Your Love and Time 2 with the British producers of Phrased Differently . The song Rodeo was created in collaboration with the Hamburg songwriter and producer Robin Grubert . Alexander Geringas wrote the ballad Real Love .
In addition, Connor worked again with producers Rob Tyger and Kay Denar, as with their previous albums. With them she played Break My Chains and the first single Cold as Ice . The deluxe version contains recordings of a secret concert that took place in Berlin in summer 2010 as bonus DVD. In November 2015, the album with its predecessor Sexy as Hell was released as a box set with the title 2 for 1 .

The online magazine Sound Base says Sarah Connor has grown up a lot. You have recorded an album that does not need to hide from the current music scene. Everything is well produced and can certainly withstand international radio standards. The singer can develop her voice best in the quiet songs. It is criticized that the album should have been shortened by one or the other song in order to bypass some length.
