Unbelievable ( “Incredible” ) is the second studio album by German singer Sarah Connor . It was released on September 30, 2002 by X-Cell and Epic Records. The record reached number ten on the German album charts and achieved gold status within 48 hours .

To work on the second album, Connor teamed up again with producers Rob Tyger and Kay Denar to produce most of the album with them. Wyclef Jean, Jerry Duplessis, Bülent Aris, Sugar P and Triage also worked as producers.
The album was able to place itself at number 10 in the German album charts, but did not match the great success of Connor's debut album Green Eyed Soul . On the album, with which they wanted to market Connor internationally, uptempo numbers and ballads alternate, which can be assigned to the music genres pop, R&B and soul. Four songs were released as singles.
On September 2, 2002, a pre-release single One Nite Stand (Of Wolves and Sheep) , a song produced by Wyclef Jean, on which he was a guest musician, was released. It was able to place itself at number 5 in the German single charts.
The second single Skin on Skin , which also reached number 5 in the German single charts, was released on November 4, 2002. The single He's Unbelievable followed in 2003 , which is based on a sample from 2Pacs California Love .
The track Bounce , which Connor released as a debut single in North America, was written by Bülent Aris, Toni Cottura and Anthony Freeman and produced by Aris. Bounce reached number 12 in the German single charts, number 20 in Austria and number 14 in Switzerland.
Thematically, the songs are mainly about love and partnership. Wait Till You Hear from Me is about substance abuse and Put Your Eyez on Me is about Connor's rise in the music industry. The song I Wanna Touch U There was written by Diane Warren, who previously worked with Toni Braxton and Celine Dion , among others .
review
Joachim Gauger from Laut.de awards three out of five possible points and praises the cooperation with the “crème de la crème des music biz”. The result was a varied album, "which, especially in terms of the quality of the production, is unrivaled among German artists". Compared to the debut album, Unbelievable is more R'n'B-heavy and soulful. The up-tempo numbers predominate, which occasionally remind of R. Kelly . The song I Wanna Touch U There is described as groovy and catchy. Of the ballads, Skin on Skin is highlighted and described as “a pre-programmed Christmas hit”. However, Gauger complains that Connor did not develop an independent style on this album.

Different editions
The album has been released in different editions, which differ in their title lists. On October 2nd, 2002 a Special Spanish Edition was released , which contains 18 songs. Four bonus songs have been added to the track list. In addition to the song From Sarah with Love from the previous album, there are Spanish versions of the songs Skin on Skin , I Wanna Touch U There and From Sarah with Love . The song Make My Day has been omitted .
The Russian version consists of 19 songs and was supplemented by the songs From Sarah with Love , French Kissing and Imagining from the previous album. The version released in the UK was inspired by the song Let's Get Back to Bed - Boy! and the version released in Asia includes From Sarah with Love .
A bonus track version was released exclusively for the amazon.de website , which includes the remixes One Nite Stand (Of Wolves and Sheep) (Club Version w / Shea's Club Keys) and Make My Day (Wicked Kid Urb'n Remix ) contains. Furthermore, two limited editions were released in Germany, each with a different bonus song as the 17th track. Version one has the song Better Half and version two has the bonus song 20,000 Feet .
