Christmas in My Heart is a Christmas album by the German pop singer Sarah Connor . It was released in November 2005.

On November 18, 2005 Connor brought her Christmas album Christmas in My Heart on the market; the same day the single of the same name was released . The single reached number 4, the album number 6 in the German charts. The album consists of German and international Christmas carols that were recorded in English and with new arrangements. Connor commented on the work on the album as follows:
“I wanted an album that shows the traditional songs in a modern way, takes the dusty away. In addition, our own compositions should fit in, not break out of the structure of the known pieces. "
In the song Ave Maria , Connor sings the first part in Latin and the second in English. At Christmas in My Heart Dwight Stewart of Naturally 7 heard as a background voice. Irving Berlin's White Christmas has been supplemented with a new stanza consisting of spoken chants. The intro to Come Together was recorded with Sarah Connor's sisters Lulu and Valentina. A New Kingdom is an interpretation of Snow falls softly . The song has a special meaning for Connor, because with a vocal recording of Leise trickle der Schnee the then 19-year-old got the attention of music producer George Glueck and received a record deal with his label X-Cell Records.
In November 2006 a new edition of the Christmas album was released with the additional song The Best Side of Life , which was also released as a single on the same day. The song, written by Marc Lennard and Jojo HF and produced by Rob Tyger and Kay Denar, was used as a song for Coca-Cola's Christmas advertising for two years , and ProSieben also used the song in the 2006 Christmas trailers.

Video album
In February 2007 a live DVD of the same name was released, on which Connor presented the titles of Christmas in My Heart at a Christmas concert in Ischgl . She was accompanied by the Vox Artis Philharmonic Orchestra. The concert, which took place in front of 140 guests, was broadcast in December 2005 on the program Sarah & Marc - Das Weihnachts-Special on ProSieben.
