Association of Botanical Gardens
The Association of Botanical Gardens eV is the umbrella organization of botanical gardens in Germany. It was founded on February 22, 1992 in Bonn . Members are botanical gardens themselves and their employees. The chairman of the board is Felicitas Wöhrmann.

The aim of the association is to promote botanical gardens. The association wants to "strengthen the position of the botanical gardens and their perception in society". It supports the gardens in their tasks and functions in scientific research and teaching, education and public relations, the sustainable protection of plant diversity and culture. It supports the work of the employees working there and serves to exchange experiences and information.
