Association of Rheinisch-Bergisch-Märkischer Carnival Societies
The Association of Rheinisch-Bergisch-Märkischer Carnival Societies eV Wuppertal , or RBM for short , is a regional association of carnival societies founded in 1949 from the Rhein-Berg-Mark area , which extends north-east of Cologne to the southern Ruhr area and is based in Wuppertal . Its membership includes 70 carnival - companies from Altena , Erkrath , Gevelsberg , Haan , Hagen , Hattingen , Herdecke , Hilden , Hückeswagen , Lüdenscheid , Mettmann , Solingen , Radevormwald , Remscheid , Velbert , Wülfrath connected and Wuppertal. The RBM is a member of the Bund Deutscher Karneval .
