Association of test centers for attack-resistant materials and structures
The Association of Testing Centers for Attack Resistant Materials and Constructions (VPAM) is an organization whose main tasks are research, testing and development of bullet resistant materials.
history
The VPAM was founded in 1999 as a joint organization of official, civil and military test centers from five European countries that test and certify bulletproof and attack-resistant protective equipment. Beat P. Kneubuehl was significantly involved in the establishment. Numerous publications and guidelines on protective weapons and equipment were published by the authorities by 2018 .
