Verim is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .

Verim Romanesque Church

It belongs to the Póvoa de Lanhoso district in the Braga district . The community had an area of ​​2.7 km² and 353 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).

On September 29, 2013, the parishes of Verim, Friande and Ajude merged to form the new parish União das Freguesias de Verim, Friande e Ajude . Verim is the seat of this newly formed community.
