The transport company Zweibrücken mbH (VGZ) is the operator of the city bus network in Two Bridges . With its seven lines, VGZ is 100% owned by Rhenus Veniro . The VGZ runs within the Rhein-Neckar transport association .

history

The VGZ started operations on December 23, 1950 as the transport department of the Zweibrücken municipal utilities with two buses. On November 1, 2000, Rhenus Veniro GmbH & Co. KG took over VGZ in the course of privatization. Over the years, the line network has been optimized again and again, so that the city center is now connected to the suburbs every hour or half an hour.
