vehicles
The Zwickau municipal transport company uses bus and tram vehicles. Currently, the Czech Tatra type “KT4D” trams and the “MAN / AEG GT6M-NF” low-floor trams are used. Buses from the manufacturer MAN “Lion's City” and from the manufacturer Mercedes-Benz “Citaro” operate in the bus network. The majority of buses run on natural gas, so the exhaust gases are particularly low in pollutants. Both types of tram are used on all SVZ lines. In 2018, the majority of SVZ vehicles received video surveillance.
