Verna Felton

Verna Felton (born July 20, 1890 in Salinas , California , † December 14, 1966 in Hollywood , California) was an American actress and voice actress .

Life

Felton made her film debut in 1917 in The Chosen Prince, or The Friendship of David and Jonathan in the role of Michal . Other films and series in which she was seen included The Sniper , I Love Lucy and December Bride , among others .

From 1941 Felton also worked as a speaker in film and television. Among other things, she was in Walt Disney - Cartoons -Spielfilmen like Dumbo , Lady and the Tramp and The Jungle Book , as well as in the series Flintstones heard. She has also appeared on radio shows such as The Jack Benny Program and The Abbott and Costello Show .

From 1923 until his death in 1941, Verna Felton was married to the animated actor Lee Millar , who intermittently lent his voice to Disney's Pluto . The actor Lee Millar junior (1924–1980) was her son. Verna Felton died of a stroke in 1966 , just hours before Walt Disney's death.

Verna Felton is dedicated to a star on the Walk of Fame .
