Veronika Polly (* 1974 in St. Pölten , Austria ) is an Austrian actress .

Life

Polly completed her acting training at the Vienna Conservatory . which she graduated with honors in 1999. This was followed by engagements at the Bregenz Theater, the Tyrolean Folk Drama, Feuchtwangen Cloister Theater and other theaters. In addition, she has worked - and still does - in numerous film and television productions ("Twinni", "Inspector Rex", "Brothers", "Anna's second chance" etc.). Her first big role on television was that of the somewhat eccentric waitress "Geli Windbüchler" in the Austrian daily soap "Mitten im Acht". In addition, theater engagements follow again and again, for example in "Tschüss, that was the ORF" or "Hallo Steward! Boeing, Boeing the other way around" (director: Werner Sobotka). In 2014 she played the down-to-earth prostitute "Mirli" in the play "Katzenzungen" at the Berndorf City Theater. In 2016 her first assignment as forensic doctor "Dr. Stephanie Löcker" in the crime series "SOKO Kitzbühel" took place.
