Veronika Schuster

Veronika Schuster (* 1954 in Salzburg ) is an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and make-up artist. Schuster was a member of the Salzburg state parliament from 2007 to 2009 .

Veronika Schuster completed her professional training as a hairdresser and wig maker at the Flieger hairdresser in Salzburg from 1969 to 1972 and then worked as a hairdresser and make-up artist at the Salzburg State Theater from 1976 to 1983 . She has been working as a freelance makeup artist since 1983. She worked for the Salzburg Festival , the Easter Festival , the Elisabeth Stage and TV productions , among others .

Schuster began her political career in 1995 in the Aigen section , where she is the women's representative. After David Brenner moved to the Salzburg state government, Schuster moved up as a member of the state parliament on December 13, 2006. She is the area spokesperson for European politics and consumer protection. After the state elections in 2009, Schuster resigned from the Salzburg state parliament on April 22, 2009, after it slipped back to forty when the SPÖ state list was drawn up and only reached eleventh place on the district list of the SPÖ Salzburg city.
